Buyer’s guide · Due diligence
Confidence comes from understanding the details.
An accepted offer begins a period of investigation and coordination. Your agreement sets the deadlines and conditions, so keep the timeline visible and ask questions early.
Inspect the property
Arrange qualified inspections appropriate to the home and review the findings. An appraisal serves the lender’s valuation process and does not replace your inspections.
Understand ownership
Review title information, seller disclosures and, where applicable, association budgets, reserves, insurance, meeting records and rules. Obtain specialist advice when a finding needs interpretation.
Coordinate the next decision
We help track questions and responses with the parties involved. Discuss the consequences of any contingency decision before signing, and consult the appropriate legal, tax or insurance professional when needed.
This guide is a starting point. Your agreement and the advice of the licensed professionals involved govern your transaction.
